Cyprus Holidays

Most who travel on their Cyprus holidays will head to the Southern part of the island, the part under the control of the Greek government. Getting to Cyprus is easy but once on the island, public transport is fairly average and those on international holidays are recommended to hire a car.

Most Cyprus holiday packages suggest staying in or around the party town of Ayia Napa which offers powder white beaches and water sports during the day and over-flowing bars and clubs in the evening. Whilst not guaranteeing cheap holidays, the competition between venues is still fierce; highlights include The Flintstone's theme 'Bedrock' and The Castle Club, designed and built like, well, a castle!

Accommodation on your Cyprus holidays is plentiful with choices from private beach villas to most of the main hotel brands. Cheap holiday deals in Cyprus can be frequently found at the last minute.

For vacations, both the major cities Limassol and Nicosia - the latter housing the UN buffer zone - have great shopping and more interesting nightlife. Nicosia also has a stunning 14th century building operating as a Turkish bath.

If it's just beaches you're after, the coastline of the whole island is very unspoilt and should be explored on your Cyprus holidays.
