Learning on OE

Ever dreamt of learning another language? It’s even more fun if you do it in another country while on your OE. How cool would it be to learn Spanish in South America, for example?

One of the best ways to explore South America is to stay with a family a few weeks and learn Spanish in an intensive environment. This means you get to practice what you've learnt every day and you'll pick it up so much quicker.

You could do your language course before joining one of the many worthwhile volunteer projects in South America. Being able to communicate and interact with locals in their own language will make it an even more rewarding experience.

Whatever you choose to do, learning the language will make your travels easier and more fun and is a life-changing experience in itself!

So what could you get into?

At Student Flights, we have new options coming online all the time, so check out these suggestions then call one of our consultants who can help you get it all sorted.

Costa Rica:

Put yourself at an immediate advantage in South America and take Spanish lessons at whatever level suits you. Cultural activities such as cooking and dancing are included and staying with a family means you can practice at home. The aim at the school is to make the lessons interesting and fun, as this is the best way to learn a language quickly and easily. The teaching approaches are dynamic and varied.

You'll get so much more out of a trip to South America if you have the confidence to speak Spanish, whether by improving current language skills or learning the basics for the first time. This experience starts by giving you a basic grounding in Spanish. Language lessons are conducted in groups with a maximum of four students, meaning you will get lots of attention.
