USA OE & Canada OE

Wake up to the sight of fresh snow covering the slopes and discover the best skiing in Canada and the USA! Some say there are more Kiwis in Whistler than here at home. This may not quite be true, but Student Flights have sent heaps of young Kiwis to work at the most popular ski resorts.

Whether its operating the lifts at Whistler Blackcomb, renting ski equipment in the shops at Big White or selling tickets at Lake Louise (Banff), we have jobs aplenty and all the inside information you need to know about how to make the most of your working holiday in Canada or the USA.

Make sure you have a chat to one of our consultants before you make up your mind – there is a good chance they’ve done it themselves and can give you the best advice so you can go your own way. For instance, almost all of the resort jobs offered include a free or discounted ski pass!

Canada:

Powder Package - Head to Canada to work on some of the most famous ski slopes in the world. This package saves you all the expenses you’d incur looking for work when you get there. Working exclusively with some of the most famous mountains, this program supports you from when you make the decision to the moment you arrive in Canada. Either the resorts will come over to New Zealand to interview you face to face, or a Skype interview will be arranged so that when you arrive you don’t have to waste huge amounts of time and money looking for work.

USA:

Kick Start Program - It’s big, it’s brash and just when you think you have done it all, you discover another city to visit, new people to meet, or another reality TV show to watch. Boasting fresh snow daily, and true American hospitality, our selected USA ski resorts offer the adventure of a lifetime! This program is designed for those who are able to work the entire ski season. After the completion of the ski season, applicants are permitted to work and/or travel throughout the United States for a period of up to twelve months in total (inclusive of the time spent in the ski resort).
